The Colenco Group anticipates a long-term commitment to the development challenges of Viet Nam and has therefore established a Representative Office in Hanoi in September 1996. This office serves as a logistic and administration base for project implementation, short-term consultants, liaising with the funding agencies, Government and international institutions. It also serves as a centre for permanent engineering activities in Viet Nam, covering the full range of our engineering services in the infrastructure, energy, institutional and environmental sectors. Since then we have been participating in various Hydropower and Urban Development studies as well as collaborating on the implementation of Thermal Energy Plants: one combined cycle power plant in the south and two coal fired power stations in the north.
